Desired DivinationTarot Theatre

Utilizing the individualized energy of its members a group or temple will then set in motion the desired outcome of a situation or event.

When working intimately with a temple or group, lives become intertwined.  Events happen to more than one person and the webbing can go from solid to vaporous in the blink of an eye.  This working is to reflect the delicacy of that web and to demonstrate its strength.

1.        Individuals will shuffle a deck of tarot having a question in mind. Select only one card.  It is best to ask a “yes” or “no” for this exercise.

2.        Move to a comfortable location.  Meditate on the question, the answer, and the card itself.  This is a perfect time to do a short solitary path working.  Nuances should be explored - emotions, images and sound associations etc.

3.        Upon completion, select an appropriate prop and or costume to represent the basic meaning/ understanding of this card.

4.        MT will ask for a group question.  Once decided upon, the group will then “lay out” the cards.  Here is where, as magicians, we select the outcome.  Laying out the cards in the most prosperous and desired solution.

This may done in a couple of ways: simply using the actual tarot cards in a chosen spread fashion, performing each card in an agreed upon order or a combination of both (decide the spread and then act out in sequence).

By placing the cards in a desired order, subconsciously you are rewriting your script.

Variations of this working:

I

1.        MT asks a group question and as a group watches, MT performs divination.

2.        Once “answer” is interpreted, cards are reshuffled.

3.        A. Each member asks a personal question, a single card is drawn and meditation follows as in the earlier ritual.

B.  One card is doled out to each member from the original spread.  Meditation or path working ensues.

4.        Members procure costume and or props.

5.        MT repeats the group question and “cards” are laid out or acted out in desired outcome.

II

1.     Group begins with question/ S.O.I.

2.     Deck is shuffled and each participant draws one card.

3.     Repeating the question once more, each participant lays out their card creating the first spread.

4.     Once all cards are down, analyze the reading in regards to the question.

5.        Determine the line of action to set the desired outcome.

-          reorganize cards into new spread layout

-          disregard cards entirely and perform work to freeze, banish, or align

-          other
