Invocation of Babalon
Fr. Dagaz [580]
Procol oh procol este profani. Barlasti ompala. In the name of the Mighty and Terrible One, I proclaim that I have banished the shells unto their habitations.
I Invoke thee Babalon, the mother of all fornication and abomination upon the Earth! Thou whose name is MYSTERY. Thee, thee I invoke. Thou who trampleth upon the City of Pyramids. Thee, thee I invoke! Thou that holdeth in thy hand thy cup which swimmith with all manner of accursed things. Thee, thee I invoke. Thou who rideth the beast of seven heads. Thee, thee I invoke! Thou who calleth out to me to fornicate before thee. Thee, thee I invoke. Thou whose brother holdeth his sword strong beneath thy banner. Thee, thee I invoke. Thou who art called Whore and Harlot. Thee, thee I invoke. OYAOIJ! OYAOIJ! OYAOIJ!
Behold, I am the dark heart of life and death, for I dwell below the supernals but no less
in glory do I reign. I am called the Lady and the Whore, but I am neither. I am called
Chaos and the Adulteress, yet how can one adulter the living? I adulter only the dead
before me. I am the One who comes in the Dark Night. I am the holder of the sacred wisdom
of the Serpent and the Goat. I am order. I am the mother of Harlots! I am not love, but am
that which may not be loved, for I am the Queen of Lust and am worshipped through thy
covet. Adore me! Drink swirling wines and feast before me! Sup from my Cup and drink of my
blood for I dwell in the place where thou darest not look. I will smite thee with the very
hem of my favors and in thine obsession thou shalt give all unto me. I shall clothe myself
in the garments of seduction and visit thee in thy sleep until thou shalt look upon my
emerald eyes with desire and longing. I ride the beast of seven heads which art truly
seven veils. I am the Queen Mother of wretched things, of accursed things, of abominable
things, of secret and mysterious things, of Lustful things. Upon mine own head is writ my
abominable name: mysterium Babalon magna mater fornicationum et abominationum terrae.
